Fashion Through the Ages Exhibit Opening

Friends of the Shadows stepped into the world of style and self-expression during the members-only exclusive opening of Fashion Through the Ages, a new temporary exhibition at The Shadows. Featuring a remarkable selection of historic garments and accessories from the Weeks family collection, the exhibition explores how fashion evolved across generations and reveals the ways clothing reflects changing tastes, social customs, and daily life. Mingling with the collection, supporters discovered the stories woven into each piece and experienced the enduring connection between fashion, family, and history.

Opening festivities included light catering, provided by Abby’s Acre, and a specialty cocktail.

Fashion Through the Ages will be open through March 2027 and can be viewed at the Shadows Visitor Center during operating hours.
