The Shadows-on-the-Teche Plein Air Competition is excited to welcome the Outdoor Painters Society to New Iberia October 20-22, 2022.

The Outdoor Painters Society creates opportunities for artists of like mind to paint together en plein air. Artists from several states will try to capture the essence of New Iberia on canvas and paper.

The three-day painting extravaganza culminates in a Show, Tell, and Sell to be held at the Shadows Visitor Center (320 E. Main Street, New Iberia) from 4-6:00 p.m. Visitors can view the broad selection of work completed throughout their stay, meet and talk with the artists, and take home a fresh painting that sings to the heart of New Iberia.

The Show, Tell, and Sell is free to attend. Proceeds from paint sales will benefit the artists and Shadows Plein Air.
